Under The Lights Boot Camp With Jess Dovanne in Meadow Park
January 23rd, 30th & february 6th | 630pm – 715pm
Coach Jess will lead you through a minimal equipment, self controlled, easy to modify session. These sessions will be circuit based, including a dynamic warm up and cool down. Jess has worked with Athletes who are exercising for the first time to athletes training at the Olympic level.

Parent Friendly Bootcamp With Jess Dovanne in Meadow Park
Mondays, wednesdays & thursdays | 945am – 1045am
If your goal is to get in a workout, connect with your community while keeping a small person alive this bootcamp is for you.
Jess is a retired National rugby player and current varsity rugby coach whose main strength (apart from her stregth) is energizing humans.
This sequence will be comprised of a warm up, high intensity easily modified movements finishing with a cool down.

Ideas Fair – A Colwood Town Hall Event

The ‘Ideas Fair’ town hall event is an exciting, interactive opportunity for Colwood residents to engage in conversations and share ideas with Council, staff and each other on a number of topics:
Seniors | Youth | Health | Arts & Culture | Traffic | Sewer Service | Big Ideas
There will be a station for each topic with a staff facilitator and activities to help residents understand some of the considerations and share their views in interactive ways.

Family Photo Day
Saturday, February 18th | 10am – 1pm in meadow park
Celebrate Family Day by bringing your family or your pet down to Meadow Park for pictures at the park! Enjoy coffee, hot chocolate and Royal Bay Bakery dog treats for your pets!
Keep it casual and try our photo booth for fun family pics with a printout photo or go for professional photos where you can order your own prints directly from our photographer’s website!

There will be warm hot chocolate to sip as you enjoy holiday tunes by the West Coast Soul Collective.
This free, festive event is a simply lovely way to spend an hour with people you love.

Colwood Fire Santa Go Around 2022
December 18th, 9am – 3pmSanta is coming to your neighbourhood on the Colwood fire truck with your firefighter friends!
He may not make it to every one of Colwood’s smaller streets, but when you hear the sirens, come out and say Merry Christmas!
He’ll have treats to share, and if you are able to share a few food items for someone in need, they would gratefully accept your donation and take it to the Goldstream Food Bank for you.
This year Santa will also spend some time at a local park as well, so kids can come and say hello there. Click here to see the projected route!

Colwood Fire Toy Drive
DECEMBER 10TH, 10AM – 2PMThe Colwood Volunteer Firefighters Association is hosting a Toy Drive in support of the Salvation Army Connection Point Resource Centre. They hope to spark joy for over 700 children this Christmas.
Firefighters will be gratefully accepting new, unwrapped gifts for boys and girls aged 10 to 15.
Drop your new unwrapped toys off on Saturday, December 10 between 10am and 2pm at the Colwood Thrifty Foods at 1860 Island Highway.

Colwood Christmas Light Up
DECEMBER 3RD + 4THCelebrate the spirit of the season and reconnect with friends and neighbours at the Colwood Christmas Light Up at Colwood City Hall.
Listen to local choirs over a warm cup of hot chocolate, hot dogs and fresh baked treats as the kids take part in fun craft activities while they eagerly await Santa’s arrival by fire truck.

100 Women Who Care West Shore
DECEMBER 1ST, 6 – 8 PMThe Royal Colwood Golf Course is hosting the 100 Women Who Care Westshore Holiday Event! This event is designed to make an immediate, direct, and positive effect on the lives of our neighbours by bringing together 100+ women who are passionate about contributing to local community causes.
The group meets for 1 hour and after listening to three presentations, attendees vote on the local charity or non-profit organization that will receive the donations for that night.

Royal Bay Secondary Food Drive ‘10,000 Tonight’
NOVEMBER 30TH, 5 – 9 PMRoyal Bay Secondary is holding its ‘10,000 Tonight’ food drive event on Wednesday, November 30th. Students will be going door to door around Colwood asking for non-perishable food items or monetary donations (cash or cheque) to help support the Goldstream Food Bank during this holiday season.
This even has played a major role in helping support our local food bank for 15+ years, ever since it’s inception in 2006.

Free Yoga in the Park
June to October | Thursdays at 6 P.M.Bring your mat, wear some comfortable clothes, and get ready to do some feel-good poses with the Royal Bay community. Join us on Thursday evenings at 6pm in Meadow Park Green. All skill levels are welcome to join in on the fun! If you’re under 18, a parent or guardian needs to join and sign off on the waiver.
