Fun in the Sun with Power to Be
Summer fun was at its peak this August when nine participants, three volunteers and three staff from Power To Be spent the day paddleboarding at Royal Bay Beachpark. The Victoria and Vancouver-based nonprofit organization helps youth with disabilities or barriers access nature.
“We are so fortunate to be located in this beautiful spot on the water that provides so many recreational activities opportunities,” said Cortney Fraser, Manager of Marketing and Communications, Royal Bay Limited Partnership. “Partnering with groups like Power To Be allows us to share what we have here with people who otherwise not be able to enjoy it.”
This is the first summer at Royal Bay Beachpark, the official opening of the seaside park was September 10, 2016.
